The 2008 Wish List Auxiliary Board
Holli Jacobs      
Holli Jacobs has been a member of the Wish List Board since June of 2007, most recently she was elected Co-Chair.  Holli first became involved with Childrens Memorial two years ago when she became a volunteer on Thursday nights in the Brown Family Life Center.  After being there for a year, she wanted to do more and joined the Wish List Board.  When Holli is not at Children's Memorial, she works as a Project Coordinator at Rush University in the Alzheimer's Disease Center

Courtney Rickard        

Courtney began volunteering at Children’s Memorial Hospital in the ER in 2006 and has been involved with the Wish List Board since 2007. She was recently elected to serve as Co-Chair on the Board. With her passion for philanthropy and enthusiasm for event planning, 2008 will be a great year for the Wish List Board. She is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco Texas, where she received a BFA and now works in commercial real estate as well as does freelance photography for Umbrella Magazine, a philanthropic resource guide for Chicago.

Ted Wankovsky:
Member of the Wish List for the past 24 years.  Founding member and President of the Wish List for 14 years.  Outside the board, Ted is President of Advocate Insurance Group, Inc.  He has also been a volunteer at Children’s Memorial Hospital for the past 24 years working in the Child Life Department and for the past 8 years as a tutoring.  He is extremely proud of what the Wish List Auxiliary has been able to provide for the children at the hospital, and of this committee and its plans for the future.

Colm Ronan
Colm Ronan joined the Wish List Auxiliary Board in 2007 in the role of Treasurer. He currently works as the Chief Operating Officer for ConsumerBase LLC, a multi-channel e-marketing agency headquartered in Evanston IL. Colm is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has held senior financial management roles as Dims Organizing Print and Radius Solutions.

Mark Rhea
Mark Rhea joined the Wish List Auxiliary Board in 2007, and began providing his services on the Logistics Committee.  Mark is a commercial real estate broker for a firm downtown.  Additionally, he is an active member of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Young Office Brokers Association, and a former member of Working In The Schools (WITS).  Mark looks forward working as a team to successfully accomplish the goals of the Board.

Ryan Baird
Ryan is a new member to the Wish List Auxiliary Board and is currently the secretary and web officer for the board. Ryan works as a Flash Designer/Developer for Dotomi, an online advertising company. Ryan graduated from DePaul University in 2007 with a B.S. in Computer Graphics and Animation, and will be starting his M.S. in Business Information Technology in fall of 2008.

Kim Grotto     
Kim Grotto is the 2008 Sponsorship Committee Chairperson for the Wish List Auxiliary Board. In the past, she has volunteered with Make-a-Wish Foundation and Little City Foundation. Professionally, Kim works as a Product Manager for American Chartered Bank, a commercial bank headquartered in Schaumburg, IL. In addition, she owns a marketing consulting company.

Justin Howard
Justin is a new member to the Wish List Auxiliary Board.  Professionally, Justin works as a Senior Budget Analyst for Crown Imports, LLC, a major beer importer.  In his spare time, Justin enjoys playing with his dog Rigby and catching Cubs Games from his rooftop balcony.  Justin is looking forward to contributing to Wish List to help further raise money for the cause.

Pepe Reilly
Pepe joined Wish List Auxiliary Board in February 2008.  Pepe currently works for a commercial real estate firm in downtown and focus' primarily on marketing properties.  Additional volunteer work includes the Big Brother, Big Sisters program, coached little league through the YMCA, work with Chicago Cares and tutoring children after school.

Mary Norton
Mary is the Silent Auction Chairperson for the 2008 Playdough Palooza. Mary joined the Wish List Auxillary Board in February 2008. She has been a Child life volunteer in the Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic of Children’s Memorial since December 2007. She received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Communication Studies and Intercultural Studies from Elmhurst College in May 2007. She also volunteers with Common Threads, Holy Name Cathedral Parish, and is a member of the board of directors of Mt. Assisi Academy located in Lemont, Illinois. Mary is married and has three children. 

Michael Hazinski
Michael Hazinski has been a member of the Wish List Auxiliary Board since January 2007 and currently serves on the Silent Auction Committee.  Michael works for a real estate investment trust in Oak Brook, IL.

Danielle Virgadamo
Danielle became a member of the Wish List board in the spring of 2008.  Currently she is a volunteer on Monday mornings at Children's Memorial Hospital on the 9Th floor.  Her position provided bedside interaction for inpatients of all ages.  Professionally, Danielle is a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.  She is excited to raise money for a cause that assist in providing patients with the much needed outlet of play
